Free NHL Picks For Friday January 16th
We won’t be using our usual NHL betting system tonight. Instead, we’ll be making a straight runline bet…..with one small caveat.
Tonight, we’ll be putting down the usual 2% of our current bankroll ($294) on our free NHL pick. Since the odds we’ll be getting will be +180, that means that if we win, we’ll make a profit of $529 instead of simply doubling up our original wager amount.
Because it’s obviously harder to beat the runline than it is to win a bet straight up, we would then take that $529, split it in half, and use it to bet on two games where we find favorable odds. In this case, with the right odds, we could split the games (winning one and losing one) and still make a fairly significant profit. Usually, we’ll do this for 5 or 6 games, cash out our winnings, and start over with our original bet amount.
