Free NHL Picks For Thursday January 8th
You’re in for a treat tonight folks! We have a chance to use one of my all-time favorite betting systems. This opportunity doesn’t come up a lot, but when it does, your odds of making money go up considerably!
Here’s how it works:
For Hockey:
Toronto +155 +1.5 (-190)
Montreal -175 -1.5 (+160)
What you want to look for is the underdog line to be greater then +140 and the favorite to have a line of 1.5(+120) or greater. With our current bankroll at $10,928, we are currently laying down $219 per game, but we’ll call it an even $200 for the sake of this example. Take half ($100) and bet the moneyline on Toronto (+155). Take the other half ($100) and bet Montreal on the run line (+160).
If Toronto wins straight up, you get back $255 for an overall profit of $55. If Montreal wins by 2 or more, you get back $260 for an overall profit of $60. The only way you lose is if Montreal wins by 1 or the game ends in a tie.
The key is to have the most favorable odds possible. What you want to look for is the underdog line to be greater then +140 and the favorite to have a line of 1.5(+120) or greater.
Like any other bet you make, it’s not foolproof. But while your profits will be smaller than simply picking an outright winner, you’ll win more often this way. Some people that use this system will take their profits from a win and increase their next wager by that amount, keep it up for a few days, then bank the profits and start over with their original wager amount.
This is something that’s worked fairly well for me over the years so I thought I would share it with you today. If you’re interested, there are two games that meet the criteria tonight.

How do we count these in our Win/Loss stats? Simple, if we win money, it counts as a win, if we lose money, it counts as a loss.
